Five hundred athletes representing 15 nations will demonstrate their determination to overcome at the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 alongside their compatriots from around the world.
With camaraderie, encouragement and support for their brothers and sisters in arms, together, these military athletes use the power of sport for healing through their recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration into their communities.
Athletes will compete in 10 events which include: archery, indoor rowing, powerlifting, road cycling, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby.

Families and military caregivers also benefit when Service members participate in adaptive sporting activities. Military families and caregivers have seen:

Participation in adaptive sports and competitions, such as the Invictus Games, provides the tools and vehicles to help support a healthy recovery.
